Wind & Mind
'With fewer smiles and colder tears
I'd whisper to the wind'
And ask of my befuddled mind,
What have you done?
I seem to breathe in air,
But the air seems missing,
All I get is a whiff in and out and no oxygen,
My mind has nitrogen and hydrogen,
And is asphyxiated,
My smiles are stymied and tears multiplied,
You were never like that,
O! Wind you used to bring that fresh air,
And cheers,
To my mind,
Which used to conjure and work like a maniac?
And design castles and plans grand,
Now it is all gone,
What have you done?
Please do an act undone,
And bring smiles,
Even with tears that are warm.
