Wind

I pluck a flower
from the grass
the golden petals
light and
artfully designed

I pluck off a petal
let it float away
on a soft breeze

But a rush of wind
whirls around me
dancing elegantly
she smiles
and runs away

but she delicately gathers
a few more petals
off my flower
before she leaves

And they flitter around her
and she seems to laugh
and they fly about
far away from me

And off she went
whirling lightly
among the grasses
and weeds alike

Making all the flowers
dance along with her

As I stand and smile
watching the beauty of nature
continue it's work
