Willing To Forgive
As your heart breaks:
his fake facade crumbles to dust.
Yet, you're willing to forgive his mistakes,
and reestablish trust.
Awash with emotional tides and acid tears:
time's passage has dissolved your doubts and calmed your fears.
And you recall the happy years:
determined to salvage love, whatever it takes.
