Notes About The Poem

Will You Miss Me

Will you miss me when I die?
Upon your mourning can I rely?
Will you cry with tears that flow?
When I lay down and finally go.

When this body is laid to rest.
Will you remember what was best.
The hopes and dreams that made me so.
Things that made me, me you know.

And when you stand looking down.
At me there in the cold, cold ground.
Will you miss me for all that I was?
Or a passing life that was just because.

Excellent first piece. A belated welcome to the soup. You posted this on the same day as my birthday. You will fit in well. :0)

...Will you cry with tears that flow? This is absolutely emotional. Great work!
