Will You Carry Me

Will you carry me,
When my walk down here is through?
If you leave this world before me,
I will carry you?

Will you carry me,
When it's time for me to sleep?
When it's time for me to say goodbye,
Will you be the one to weep?

Will you carry me,
When I leave this world behind?
If I leave this life before you,
Will I be on your mind?

Will you carry me,
When it's time to pass away?
Will you take me to my resting place,
When I face my final day?

Will you carry me
Will you be the one who's there
Will you carry me to paradise,
When there's no one else to care?

Written about a woman who passed away with no family to carry her to her grave.
