Will I Be Forgotten
Will I Be Forgotten
are my words mere dust
as so many others believe;
while shouting their life
from the bottom of a well.
will they only last as long as I do
posting them on ephemeral pages?
are there no gods who enjoy
shuffling through reams of life?
then I remember the blue spark,
which takes each written poem
into the gloom of sentient night
crossing space from here to where.
no poem is ever lost!
no matter, it is launched
as hybrid beams deep
toward the beginnings of time.
perhaps they are awaiting us
out there ahead of our flights
we will discover a universe of thoughts
and recognize them as our own.
