Wildkatze/Wild Cat/Gato Montés

Der Wald atmet auf
Sonnenlicht fällt auf Tannengrün
Im aufsteigenden Nebel

Am Bachrand vor hohem Gras
Sonnt sich im Baum eine Wildkatze

-------------------------------------------

The forest breathes again
Sunlight falls on pines' green
In now rising mist

At the brook's edge near tall grass
A wild cat is basking in a tree

------------------------------------------

El bosque respira
Luz cae sobre abetos verdes
En la subienda niebla

Al arroyo cerca de hierba alta
Gato montés toma un baño de sol

Excellent descriptive and expressive work..Beginning with a sense of calm and relaxation then a little added excitement with the cat....The elegant thought behind the pen captures my attention....Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my work..Those mosquitoes do love me ....Sara

Lucky cat, to be so relaxed up that tree! that mention of gato though makes me think of cookies, lol--lengua de gato ;) you familiar with them? Yummy--I really enjoy seeing some of the familiar foreign words in your poems, especially the Spanish ones--since Tagalog has a lot of words derived from it--& as for my poem--eep it's still stuck in a rut ;)
