Wild Roses

Wild, ecstatic, frivolous roses, Haphazardly draping in staccato pink The grassy embankment. Bubbling, gleeful, like so many corsages On fresh-faced girls at a High school prom. Cheerful, radiant, intricate charms, Proffering subliminal messages Of joy and hope rekindled.

Cheerful and uplifting. I prefer this title to 'June' ~ it seems to bring the poem even more to life.
