Wild Ride

Listen, you're not ready
This ride ain't steady
Let it go and you won't know
How your life got so low

Slowly look for the lever of life
To turn off the strife
As the world backstabs with a knife

How you got here and how you steer
With a mirror to view the rear
But the front windshield's opaque
No way to press the breaks
Just pedal to metal and pray
For a safe landing
A firm standing

Hear me out
'cause you never know when your plan goes south
Get hit in the mouth
As the railway is unseen
The trains here are mean
The people ain't keen
Cold guys, sold souls
Burning girls, molded ghouls
Roll up your windows
Cloud 9 is long gone

And until this ride stops, crashes, or is saved
Just pray the the road in front of you is paved
'Cause we're all driving in a dark cave
Unbound on a wild ride
Those warning signs never lied
