Wild Horses

Wild horses run through the night. Manes flowing, nostrils blowing, eyes glowing, Run for their lives, flee the fright. Stampede never slowing Wild horse hooves pound like thunder. Ground shakes, muscles ache, hedgerow break. Run from the sound all asunder Ghost riders chase daybreak Some Paradise Where Horses Go Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Michelle Faulkner 3/24/20

Horses are such spectacular animals. They tamed the west in helping pioneers succeed in one of the only modes of transportation. I loved your imagery in this winning poem Timothy. Congratulations! xxoo

Thank you Connie. They are magnificent animals. So strong and beautiful. I puzzles me why God gave them such fragile feet. Thank you.
