Wild Horse Poets

                 Wild Horse Poets

Like wild horses, we trample poems for fun?
Leaving no comment!
Is that our measure of another poet's heart treasure?

I read some phenomenal poetry today.
Horse poets left no comments.
Hundreds of them.
And shame on them!

Over dweebish poetry, we lick their
boots.
While true poets, with wisdom and
originality.
We ignore with obvious ignominy.

What is commenting really about?
Some use it at a stage to flaunt their
insipid intellectual prowess!
But the comment shows who you are,
a clown, nothing more!

Maybe reading poems is a race?
I do not play that game.
I won't comment if a poem is inhumane.
But, I think these orphaned poems are
truly a shame.
Some far better than some POTD's
Left, under a gravestone, silent!

You fast typists, especially, gee, can
you type at least one word?
Do not leave good poems without
recognition.
Or are we only commenting to contest
winners for our selfish recognition?

Well said Panagiota, but sadly it continues, as it says on the home page, encourage a poet with a comment but the no comments is getting to be the norm with many, I know people live busy lives but a couple of couple of comments to a stranger wouldn't go amiss Tom

As a non-typist...it's a quandary for me to, as I said, comprehend ths. How about type " NICE or GOOD."Just one word? To Those one hundred POET'S~ may your quills break if you say nothing! No excuses. Baloney, there is time. A person wrote it, Tom, the others do not care! I guess I value the Poet more than the poem. I know they have a heart! PR

Panagiota, this is a great write. Not only applies to poetry soup but all walks of life. It is a barter system of give and take. We cannot change the ocean but must learn to live with the tides!

KRISH..You are abslotely on point. Your last sentence is quite philosophical and brimming with wisdom. Appreciate the honor of your visit. I see all comments as gifts that refect the goodness of a person.)) Best to you...Panagiota
