wild butterfly soul
too good for me
yet you chose me
why i do not know
i know better than to ask questions
here we are
at our little cocoon of magic
it is here that we reminisce as well as make new memories
you are the beauty and i am the beast
you are the chef and i am the feast
wild butterfly soul
way out of my league
yet your love is only for me
i will never be able to figure it out
i know better than to overtly dwell on it
there we go
arm in arm
eyes only on each other
you only grow more beautiful each year that passes
you prove wrong all the naysayers and continually defy the masses
wild butterfly soul
well above my level
yet you saved yourself for me
i never thought i would score as many points with you as i have
i know better than to keep any type of score
