Widowed Bride

Upon this dark and sunny day,
Kneeling by your flowery display
My teardrops fall like dripping dew,
Remembering my time with you.
Cold hard stone is all that is left
To warm my heart that’s lost, bereft.
Today our life had just begun,
When in a moment, it was done.
I lay, in sorrow, by your side,
Forever yours, your mournful bride.

Awsome poem Tanya. One suggestion, on the fourth line, you might want to say, Remembering my time spent with you. It fills in the meter. I can not say when sun will shine. Since lonely days when you were mine. The time we spent was short and sweet. And now I await, till again, we meet. Have a nice day Tanya. :)

Wow, Tanya, I really loved this tearful write! This is quite the sentimental poem my friend! I felt the sadness within your loving write! I really enjoyed this poem a lot! Great Work!!
