Widow

I feel a sense of emptiness
Something is missing
My better half has disappeared
Suddenly I am alone

It happened out of the blue
I did not expect this shocking time
Clouds are roaming back and forth
In and out a depressing rhyme

Blackness lives with me now
Since you are gone
A cistern full of sadness
Is all that is left

Where are you now?
I wonder to myself
I cry for your comfort
I beg for my better half to return

For you are not gone
Just absent
My better half has not left me
Just bitten me
