Wide Sky

Take your glasses off
See the wide wild sky

See the horizon that you have never seen

it is ever boxed by your faulty frames
guidelined by restriction
You can not really know it's name

You only see a part of life
And know not it's true fame

Better see it blurry than as a limited game

Your glasses frame the world
and yes
They let you see
but you miss the bigger picture
and that's no way to be

Take your glasses off and just smell the salted sea

It's like you never smelled before
and it's as if you have never seen

Take your glasses off and experience what it is to be

The sky is far far wider and the perspective
quite mind-blowing to me

Take your glasses off and walk quietly with me
Together we can find a new tomorrow

We can change who we maybe

We can walk hand in hand
and forget where it is that might be
We can forget our color
And just talk so openly

We'll speak only the of things we care
and never think of where we are
Until the angels up above
Remind us of true love

There will be no Putin
There will be no nuclear war
They'll only be this wide sky
and us being exactly who we are

Love the "take your glasses off" analogy. May we reach the place of removing the lens of judgment and separation... Wonderful way to capture truth!

Thanks Becky Today has been a day of half success in writing Some days are so much harder than others but as long as we show up I guess that is the win
