Notes About The Poem

Wide Aimless Way

blue smile, bursting with sunshine, fervent zeal
jovial rhythm mood, fleeting in lull feel.

crisp briny ocean air, gulls beating wings
free over ripple heaven, white bird sings.

resonant resting snores as breath wind rolls,
drags its waves, outstretch ripples mere controls.

playful mood white spume, covers tan sands face
      a magical erosion taking place.

embedding each grain of sand as waves force
forward leaving size seashells in its course.

Words that they are until your magic gave its beautiful purpose, Eve, to create that simple smile to oddly-looking faces in passing on a rainy day -- now that's magic my friend, so deservingly earned first placement with my compliments, Aloha!

If you plan on entering a contest for the ugliest, coarsest, most fetid verse ever published, I wouldn't bother -- b/c this is the EXACT OPPOSITE, Eve. Just gorgeous!! Here's to a winner for you, and a FAVE for me. Thanks, gw
