Wicked

Breathing, balmy whispers flow across our cheeks
Coaxing, wayward senses spiral deep
Savored, magic's enchanted powers thrill
Toward infinite surrender, as chaotic hearts
Engulf our tryst of taboo dreams

Karen These words pull the reader into a write of sensuality, mischief, enjoyment, pleasure, steaminess, delight, sexy, and excitement. An erotic world of dreams and badness. Thanks for the congrats and nice comment on my Crazily Contagious poem.

I like it. It smelled of sensuality and desire. Too bad you didn't take it further. It could have been a very seductive write. I don't like to pander my poetry in my reviews but I'll make an exception on this one. At first read I wanted to recommend "Dark Enchantress", but after re-reading I'm leaning more toward "Sweet Love". On another note, I think "Taboo Dreams" would have been a better title. A good title is what makes me choose a poem to read from the hundreds that are offered. Rockman :-)

Thank you for offering such an insightful perspective. I did change the title after I posted it on this sight and I'm not sure why I chose "Wicked", probably because the magic, enchantment and tryst seem to suggest a hint of wicked. I like to leave something for the reader to imagine.

go on with this poem, taboo dreams are the seductive necessity of a new passion's birth.

Toxic love. Sometimes being wicked is fun. We are human and must reach for all the emotions to understand the ones that matter. I love this one. Kilmer

Harry, As you have suggested, I have been thinking about stretching this into a sonnet. Hopefully my blender brain can work on that. I love a good challenge. Thank you !
