Why Won'T You See It Too

Here I sit on a higher plateau then you 
Communicating these days seems hard to do. 
I have dreams and ambitions, 
When all you want to do is go fishing. 
It is like we are living in two separate worlds.
I am learning and growing 
And you’re doing nothing. 
Knowing people take different paths 
Is why I decided to stop the drugs? 
Now I feel like an outsider looking in. 
You say you don’t understand. 
You get mad when I present the facts. 
I just want to break away from all of that. 
I want more for my life now. 
Why do I have to do it alone?
Why won’t you do it too?
I know deep down in my heart this is 
The right thing to do
Why can’t you see it too?
