WHY WAIT

The fog was so thick
A knife would cut through it
Visibility was a poor sight
Navigating was a fright
The stars had disappeared
Darkness brings fear

The Silence was eerie
Only a fool walks freely
Deadly and disastrous
A mood changes fastest
Trust is obsolete
Innocence is discreet

Fight, flight or freeze
Do as you please
Cannot underestimate
If early or late
When all comes to an end
Time can be a good friend
