Why the Tree Sheds Leaf

The leaf begins as a bud Tree feeds with supplies, avid

Bud blossoms to become a leave Of course, both have to weave

Leaf gladdens to get as green Learns to lead as close and keen

Leaf begins to make its’ own food Supplies to the system, for overall good

When it was receiving, a dependent Now by supplying, became independent

Time has driven the leaf with jealousy Thought as if the tree thrives, on its’ courtesy

By this time, leaf was led to be layered as pale Jealousy sailed it to stand as sole

Tree does not have any option ahead Except to leave the leaf to shed!

Life of the leaf came to a close For jealousy leads you to lose!
