Why So Soon
Couldn't imagine not hearing your voice everyday
Couldn't imagine not seeing your face
Couldn't imagine seeing you in this state
God,why aren't the tears falling now
Sorrow in my heart
But these icy tears won't fall
When I heard the news I didn't understand
Still can't decipher it now
All I know is that I can't live without your voice
Can't live without your smile
But I also hate to see you in this state
I pray that you recieve peace
And rest abundantly
But before you go just tell me goodbye
And say hey don't cry.
Life in heaven is much greater than here
And I know I'll see you on the other side
Before you close your eyes
The very last time
Tell me I'm gonna make it
Through my trials and tribulations
Tell me everything will work in my favor.
Couldn't imagine living without you
But I know God has many riches for you
Just remember to save me a few.
