why run?

Around she goes
Dancing on stage,
A prance to hide,
A smile which cries.

She spins around,
Vertigo overcoming.
She sauté's with deadly grace,
As she tries to reach.

The ground cracks,
Opening a void,
She tried so hard to leave,
Now stuck anew.

A darkness swallows,
As she falls back,
To accept it or escape she thinks,
But she can't really,
She shall run but can't hide.

No matter how far,
It always catches up.
Worse each time,
But no one sees.

Why not just accept it?
Enjoy the darkness,
Give up hope,
Does it matter with ur little life?

Why bother if u can't run,
If you can't escape the silent chase,

Like hide n seek in a barren land,
Or running on a treadmill hoping to reach.
