Why ever learn a song
If you're never going to sing along
Why buy the shoes that tap
If you never take the chance to dance
Why even take the tip
If you don't do a thing with it
Why open up the can
If you're not going to spoon what's in
Why count your lucky stars
If you spend all your time indoors
Why pull a rabbit from your hat
If that's the only trick you have
Why count up to two
When you only ever think of you
Why try and learn to swim
If you're not willing to dip your toes in
Why ever learn to fly
If you never reach for the sky

If you're never going to try
