Why Must I

Why must I want
What I know I can't have
For the woman I want
Only thinks of me as a sister
She doesn't realize
That her beauty mesmerizes me
Not only on the outside
But on the inside as well
If only she knew
How each time I see her smile
My heart begins to flutter
And to hear her voice and laughter
Fills my heart
with warmth and joy
Her perfect body I crave to touch
To trace the outlines of her tattoos
With the tips of my fingers
Every time I look into her eyes
I find myself falling deeper in love
But she will never know
For I always want
What I know I can't have
