Why Love?
To the man who said
"Why love?"
Why not?
It's a gift
A bond
A friendship
Never ending trust
Smiles every day
The biggest risk
The greatest challenge
From the woman who said
"I love you"
How do I know?
The trust
The bond
The friendship
Smiles all day
Risking it all for you
Butterflies in my stomach
My only challenge
Figuring out how to tell my secret
The deepest darkest feelings
The hardest thing to say
To a man who doesn't believe.
