Why I Wear a Mask During Covid19

Some folks resist wearing a mask heedless of the possibility of zymosis!

I religiously wear a mask to conceal my very conspicuous proboscis!

Thanks, Nancy! Glad it gave you a laff. (Psst - a little secret; zymosis means spreading disease & proboscis means nose) and I had to look long and hard to get something to rhyme with proboscis and also that made some semblance of sense! Best to you as you continue your poetical journey - Bob

Hi Robert, I’m glad you wear a mask. When go outdoors I wear one too. I don’t understand why some people don’t. Take care. Have a wonderful day:-) Alexis

Thanks Alexis. Some folks think wearing a mask infringes on their lst Amendment rights - how silly! If you can do anything to preserve your health, seems like the sensible thing to do. Take good care - Bob

Big smiles, Bob. I'm glad you're wearing a mask, but your nose looks nice to me. Enjoyed your couplet! Hugs, Carolyn

Robert..I made a request of you in Soupmail. Can you do it? You have not. I can barely read Soupmail....I did see your Soupmai, but Soupmail and I, vision wise are awful. Like reading an index card...yikes. Pangie.....

Good! A humorous side to this zaniness. Thanks Bob. I won't leave my house until this maskdemic madness stops! I think Ledger has it on the money. As the death rate drops, we must keep covid mania and fear going. Tons of money at stake in testing, vaccines, and masks. LOL I need an entire face mask. Nonetheless, won't see fellow Americans looking like bank robbers.... Pangie

Glad it gave you a laff, Ilene! By the way zymosis means "spread of disease". Had to look long & hard to find a word that would rhyme with proboscis but good old rhymezone came to the rescue! Bob
