Why Have You Visited
An angel came to me last night
As I slept in my bed,
In my dream I asked her,
"Why have you visited."
She said " I come to offer comfort
I come to ease your pain.
I come to quell the sorrow,
And the grief that you retain."
"Your loved one she is safe
In heaven, there she waits.
In God's good time you'll see her,
When you enter heavens gates."
"The soul, it is eternal
Life is but a stage,
There comes a time for all of us
When the lord, he turns the page."
