Why Guns

Who created guns?
For what purpose?
For territorial expansion
By power hungry politicians?

For self defence?
Of what?
Transient body?
Wealth?
It can be earned again!

We are ready to take a life
For flimsy reasons
Without thought!

Humans are selfish
But selfish enough to kill?
At times thousand for no valid reason

Human heartlessness at display
And common man watches speechless
Not a word in opposition
As if we don't care

Are we behaving responsibly!
Is this maturity?
Is this intelligence?

L Milton Hankins April 22, 2021 at 12:20 PM No matter what the justifications for guns, it is perfectly clear to me that "we [are] behaving irresponsibly."
