Why Fight a Fight That's Already Lost

As he once again broke through
his selfmade illusions
He noticed that the feeling
of both love and sorrow remained

so he closed his eyes
and acknowledged his defeat
before the battle even begun
He just couldn't take down his opponent,
even if it didn't exist

The mind's illusion sometimes poses the greatest foe, for it is what the mind believes. HAPPY NEW YEAR. Sincerely, Moses
