Why Don'T You Listen

Why don't you listen when I tell you this is how I am?
I can't change for the life of me and I don't want to.
Why don't you listen when I tell you that you're not good enough for me?
Loveless and weak willed I cannot see a future.
Why don't you listen when I say war is lies is propaganda?
You seem to think the death of innocents is just and I can't stand that.
Why don't you listen when I say the end is near?
Famine disease plague natural nuclear.
Why don't you listen?
