Why Don'T You Just Write a Poem Down

throughout the last fifty eight or so years I went off for a walk,
most of my life, it seems, until I thought,
why don't you just write a poem down.

Why not, I always did feel like I had something to say.
I was always only as good as I am when I was pushed
to pursue

but you know some days are not / situated
And other times why would anyone even attempt to
rhyme, poetry is not about rhyming words, I thought

It was about appealing to how it feels to be alive
And it's quite strange / it is fabulously
unreal

I think as I look up as I look down as I
find my absence in this world was less than
apparent to me / all this time.

Peace!
