Why Do I Write These Poems
why do i write these poems?
they make no money
what do i care what the rest of the world thinks if im dead?
why do i care what this world is like when im gone?
its innate
its human
something inside me is calling me and telling me that it matters
i don't know why
i don't know what it is
it's just who i am
it's who i am as a person that drives me and tells me
because i was given that spark
i don't know how long ago i was given that spark
but i was given that spark
and sometimes i'm like, let's find something poetic
but i don't know if you can make poetry
i think it just comes
sometimes it comes, sometimes it doesn't, and it varies
it's a beautiful day today, very balmy
it kind of reminds me of humanity
that's when we're at our best
that's the kind of world id like to see
a balmy world
where things are even and balanced, at equilibrium
a balmy world of equilibrium
a balmy world of peace
a balmy world of sunshine
a balmy world of love.
