Why do I understand this man, Maria?
Because he flees the world,
For seeking peace,
For seeking truth,
Why do I understand this man, Maria?
Because he love his children, forests
Enough to leave them alone,
Because he had sufferings
And don’t know about them,
Why do I understand this man, Maria?
I too, flee the world every morning,
To seek peace amid trees and birds,
To flee naughtiness,
The world is not a such safe place.
