Why Do I Breath

I am the one with questions galore
my mind races endlessly as I continue to explore
choices and options at a price impossible to ignore
breathing is what I do but not what I live for

Reward is routine without explanation
we are all good to the ones we are closest to without true expectation
we assume the love and care sent out is without hesitation
the trouble is our station in life should not alter that expectation

Unaware of why I was brought here
the reason I exist was never made clear
the decision was made for me in the hopes a purpose would appear
it's not about you it's about transferring life forward and quietly disappear
