Why Did She Go

He missed her so
Why did she go?

She thought about him night and day
For it had been a million years
At least it felt that way in tears
But still she loved him anyway

For it had been a million years
Since they first met that Saturday
Upon the garden entranceway

Since he had seen her slip away
