Why Can'T I Just Be Me?
Words unheard
Cries unanswered
Why do I even bother explaining my feelings?
Sometimes I say some crazy things
Sometimes I make some stupid mistakes
But isn’t that what makes me human?
Seems like everything I do isn’t how others want it
So why can’t I just be me?
I do what I believe is good
I try not to hurt anyone
Being myself never seems good enough
Should I throw this old life away?
And start a whole new me?
But it just wouldn’t feel right
Because I just want to be me
