Why Can'T I

Why can't I?
Why can't I see?
I seem blinded
By something I can't see or know
When I'm around you I don't know what it is
I just want to be yours again
No matter what I do or say
I can't get you out of my head
Why can't I love you?
Because of him
There may never be an us
I don't think I can love you
The way I loved him
I want to move on
With you
But I can't
Just somebody
Anybody
Can you please tell me
Why can't I?

You don't need to love the present the same way you loved the past, for the past is density of life's procedure on down the river of life; out of your life. Smile. A great poem Brooke, Congratulations on your worthy poem's 2nt place. Agape, Moses
