Why Are We Apart?
Why couldn’t I have met you,
Such a long time ago?
Why couldn’t we fall in love,
And let everyone know?
Why do I sit here thinking of you,
When we could be together,
And make our life anew?
Why is destiny so cruel,
Not to bring us together?
It seems like a rule,
Just like stormy weather.
I look into your eyes,
The eyes of an angel.
There is no surprise,
I am so thankful,
To have seen your face,
To look into your heart,
To know where you stand,
Why are we apart?
