Why Animals, Why

Why doesn't the lion laugh,
                    the cow doesn't cry...
                    The snake doesn't peep,
                    the hawk does not swim.
                    Nothing, nothing ...
                    The vulture does not snore,
                     the bull doesn't gorge,
                     the zebra doesn't sing...
                     The dog doesn't neigh,
                      the cat doesn't tap...
                      How tedious is this animal
                      no joy, no joke...
                      Alligator is always alligator,
                      elephant always elephant is...
                       animals, me too
                       I'm an animal... let me
                       play with you,
                       teach you...!

L Milton Hankins June 25, 2021 at 6:51 PM If I may, with all due respect ask, why is this published as a limerick? A limerick has five lines with a definite syllable count. It IS not limerick, bit we do not have poem type for humor, you can observe that i have written Limerick ffve Lines AND definite syllable count.
