Why

Why do you keep hurting me?
Your words are like poison darts
I’ve forgiven you freely
Why drive a stake into my heart?

Why keep on lying to me?
Your words are deceitful lies
I’ve forgiven you freely
Why do you, my words, defy?

Why punish me like a foe?
You treat me cruelly, indeed!
You forgave me? Is that so?
Your words contradict your deeds

Hi Jo. This was written about a month ago but I am really happy now :) I really thank God for the people (like you) and friends He has brought into my life to encourage me.
