Why

It begs an answer
though often unanswered
to know or not to know
leaves more questions

Acceptance screams why
more often than not
Till the water runs out
the tea pot shouts

Sips too hot
Sips too cold
Tea in the teapot
leaves swirling bold

Knowing not
the when and how
Accepting His Grace
here and now

It's not about the tea
nor the birds or the bees
It is simply life
with all its strife

I hope your answers come with peace. When pain in heart never seems to cease. We contemplate with sips of tea. But what will be is what will be. :) I hope your pen can still the night. And put on paper your insight. Why is answered in it's asking.

We need not always a definitive answer Debra...it is a bit intresant to "be wondering" WHY, WHO, WHAT....WHERE - Very well written - like it....(why...?:)Take care. - oxox love Anne-Lise

So many things we don't understand Deb; including illness, I do hope you are holding tight with your dad's illness. It's wonderful he has a daughter like you who stands by him. Love, Elizabeth

Today the sun came out again. Reminding we're alive. But inside we don't understand why we're just left to strive. The answer came and went last night. When we were fast asleep. Within our dreams that splipped our mind and sank into the deep. Hi Debra, thanks for the inspiration. May sunlight fill your days with love. :)
