Why

Why did he do it
 What urged him on
To try and end his life
  He is so young

 To be in such despair
That he cant see the end
Was there no-one to talk to
 Didnt he have a friend

He did make that one call
 That saved his life
 Was it just bluff
 Did he want to live?

 Now he is in hospital
 Where his mind will heal
 His tortures will be tempered
 Living is for real

I hope when he is well again
 He can come to me
 Talk about his nightmares
 Make hinm see

 That life has 2 sides
 One good and fine
 The other is dark
 Like vinegary wine

Sour to see to touch to feel
 Pass to other side
 To warmth and to heal
To stay forever and never hide

 To happiness always
 To happier smiles
 To friends who love you
 Sunshine for miles.

Depression is a very overwhelming emotion. One of the things I write about as well, I just don't normally mention it by name. It's nice to know that there is someone there for that person, but sometimes even when there are a thousand there, nothing will help. I am continuing from the beginning, enjoying all of these poems so much that I feel obligated to comment on most. Good work again.
