Why rush away from His presence?
When is yet to finish with you
Why rush away from His presence?
When what you think is out there is right here with Him
Why rush away from His feet?
When He has so much to tell you
Why rush away from His feet?
When right at His feet is mercy and hope
Why rush away from Him to seek solution elsewhere?
When He has said He would do it
Why rush away from His to seek help from the outside?
When He will give freely and in fullness
Why the complaints?
When He said be patient for some time
Why rush to love the world and its pleasure?
When He’s madly in love with you
Why the rush?
Take your time
And be cool with Christ.
