Why
I know I can be warm hearted,
I have the potential to be.
So why do I keep things guarded
and under lock and key?
Why do I hope that someone else
can my heart with keys unlock,
when i'm the one that built these walls
like a prison made from rock?
Why do I fear to let me out
and expose a hidden heart?
I guess I have potential
it's just knowing how to start.
