by the way. I was thinking, to even give the I rhyme sound more impetus, the word lay can be changed to lie (even though most people don't like using that word in its formal usage)

I always love rhyme in a haiku, whether some do or not. This is very cool. By the way, I have to thank you for my placement in your contest. Very happy you liked my sonnet.

Dear craigsz, i am amazed and impressed. A mystery how they work so hard, and probably they wonder too… so true. What a deep haiku this is. I think “ evocative” should be the word for most of your poems , any form,, you somehow write in a way that is soul stirring really! Loved this, as always. Sending you light always

...yesssir....animals, birds, and insects eat ants......ants have survived long enough to take over the earth.....so ant society is full of various specialists that can solve complex problems.....some watch for bug spray and others study you......dragonflies are a favorite...... stan sand
