Why
I don’t like this place!
Dark. Sad. Alone
Energy around me
Illuminates excitement
Smiles. Laughter. Life
The spirit within
Try’s to grasp
Joyful moments
But the disconnect is -
Powerful
I ask over and over
Why am I sad?
Nothing comes to light
No voice. No idea of
Why my world
Seemingly
So full of life
Is dead and empty
