Why

I came to this site with high hopes. Had heard it was one of the best around. At first there was one person who befriended me and read my work. But then things tapered off and I began to wonder if my work is any good. However, I get good results at other sites.
I have tried to comment and respond faithfully.
I feel I just am not what you want here and I think it is time to move on. I am trying to make a late-life career of my writing and with no results here, I feel bereft.
Thank you so much to the few people who have read and responded. I feel I have made a couple of friends here - and I cherish that.

Hi Sherry, I'm so sorry to hear that you are considering leaving. I have read and commented on many of your poems. You know, we all question our work from time to time. You have such a vivid imagination and have a gift for expressing it in poetry. Please keep writing on whatever site you pick. Warmest wishes~ Warren. P.S. stay for awhile longer.

So sorry to hear you are leaving. I agree it is not the best site when it comes to commenting. But I really like your sharing, I wish you'd reconsider and stay . if not you may want to try Authors Den. I am there as Mystic Rose, a Very good site. Love xo
