Woke up to a sunny day Life had been smiling at them They hoped summer to enjoy In heaven were found! © Demetrios Trifiatis 25 July 2018 * Latest from Greek tragedy: 80 dead, 150 injured, 100 missing, 1500 houses destroyed and counting...! All this could have been minimized if the Greek state had done its job properly but it never does, just play politics and thus sacrificing its citizens! Rest in peace my departed friends! 7-7-7-5

Watching it on the news last night was truly heartbreaking to see. May those poor souls rest in peace and prayers for all those affected by it. Tom

Yes, it is devastating to say the least especially when we know that it was mainly the state's incompetence which caused that much damage! Even today there is no co-ordination of anything! Imagine they had hired a number of handicapped people (up to 40% handicapped) trained them for a month and off they went to be firefighters ! That is what it was written! In many cases fire engines didn't even have water to fight the flames! POLITICS! Thank you!

You would think fires are preventable...yet, so many die. This tragedy may lead to action..let's hope! May God bless them in heaven! Good work my friend, for you are keeping your focus.
