Notes About The Poem

And Jesus answered and said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” And they marveled at Him. Mark 12:17

Who's Rainbow

We have heard of the rainbow and its gold
That’s the pot of myth we’ve have been sold
A rainbow is nothing new,
(although after the rain the refraction's in view)
But it’s being highjacked, imbued
As an emblem by LGBTQIAN+ askance and skewed
It’s said that homophobia killed disco
It’s too bad that it didn’t quake San Francisco
(Pacto Arco Iris en español
God's covenant of the rainbow)
