Whos In Charge

Who’s in charge
14/08/2018

Confusion reigns supreme,
As my alter takes the reign.
Like a character in a meme,
Whos repetition drives me insane.
Just who’s driving this train ?
This train of thought so inane !

Thoughts are so subjective, inanimate,
Yet this subject lives its own force.
This passenger is now an ingrate,
Oh Captain grant me a divorce.
This ship can’t stand this course,
I can’t stand this constant discourse.

Please my Captain oh Captain,
Tell me who’s in charge.
The sinner or the chaplain,
Are we guilty as charged ?
Am I The we ? Are we a farce ?
Did my ID escape at large ?

Take me to my leader I plead,
As I’m given the cool Kool aid.
Come to my aid as I bleed,
Gently staple your pretty Bandaids.
Head weak as I begin to fade,
Blood drips slowly, no effort made.

Unsure, scared.. who passed away ?
Did He kill me off or did I die ?
Or is this turmoil really here to stay,
My Ego in tumult floats on by.
Strange forces are put in play,
As my life force ebbs and wanes.

Take me to your leader...isn’t that me ?
I’m the Captain of this ship,
I don’t mind that I disagree.
We want out of this one way trip,
To confusion and misery.
My ships sinking and your coming down with me.
